Get answers to common questions about Powder Color Correct.
Powder Color Correct is a corrective permanent makeup service that neutralizes unwanted pigments under the skin. Unlike tinting, it addresses implanted pigment tones and balances color long-term rather than temporarily coating surface hairs.
A typical appointment lasts 60–90 minutes including consultation and color testing. Complex corrections may take longer; additional sessions are scheduled weeks apart for safe, gradual improvements.
Yes, when performed by experienced technicians after a thorough assessment and patch test. Some tattooed pigments may require multiple sessions or removal first, depending on depth and color.
Most clients see desired neutralization in one session, but severe color shifts often need two to three treatments spaced 6–8 weeks apart to achieve optimal, even results.
The goal is to neutralize unwanted hues rather than simply lighten or darken. We apply opposing tones to cancel pigments, producing a more natural shade that may require follow-up refinement.
Avoid water, sweating, sun exposure, and makeup on the brows for the first week. Apply recommended ointment, don’t pick scabs, and expect final color to settle after full healing.
