Get answers to common questions about Brazilian Hard Wax.
Trim hair to about 1/4 inch if needed, exfoliate gently 48 hours before, avoid tanning and heavy lotions the day of. Arrive clean and communicate concerns with your technician so we can tailor comfort measures and timing.
Most clients report less pain with hard wax in intimate areas because the wax grips hair rather than skin. Technicians use quick, professional removal and calming techniques; discomfort is brief and reduces with regular treatments.
Hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly 6 mm) for effective hard wax adherence. If hair is longer we'll trim discreetly. Shorter lengths may require waiting for regrowth before waxing.
Plan appointments every three to six weeks depending on hair growth and personal preference. Regular scheduling often leads to finer regrowth and easier sessions; we'll recommend timing based on your individual cycle and results.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy workouts and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Soothe skin with gentle aloe or recommended post-wax oil, exfoliate after 72 hours, and avoid sun exposure to reduce irritation.
Brazilian Hard Wax is generally safe during pregnancy and nursing, but check with your healthcare provider. Tell us if you're pregnant; we'll adapt positioning, use gentle techniques and avoid certain products. Comfort and consent are prioritized.
