Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lip & Chin Wax.

Results typically last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth, hormones, and skin type. Regular waxing often delays regrowth and makes hair finer, while touch-up appointments keep your upper lip and chin consistently smooth.

Many clients report brief stinging rather than intense pain. We apply soothing pre- and post-wax care to minimize discomfort. Avoid caffeine beforehand, breathe deeply during the service, and a topical numbing cream can be used if you are especially sensitive.

For best results grow hair to about 1/4 inch so the wax can grip properly. Arrive clean-faced, avoid exfoliating agents on the day, and inform us of any skin conditions or medications before the Lip & Chin Wax.

Typically schedule every three to six weeks based on your personal growth cycle and desired upkeep. Our estheticians will recommend a tailored cadence to maintain smoothness, reduce regrowth visibility, and optimize long-term hair texture.

Minor redness, swelling, or small bumps are common immediately after waxing and usually subside within hours to a day. Rarely, ingrown hairs or prolonged irritation occur; follow aftercare, avoid heat and exfoliate gently after 48 hours.

Sensitive skin can still be waxed with precautions: we perform a patch test and use gentle techniques. If you’re on isotretinoin, blood thinners, or strong retinoids, consult your physician first; always disclose medications at booking.
